Community Mobile Health Tour Locations for 2011

Prevention Partners Inc. health education and improved community access programs and initiatives have expanded to reach diverse, faith-based communities and network with more social/civic organizations. Over the years we have implemented initiatives in areas which are predominantly African American (75%), Hispanic (10%) and Caucasian (15%). We place a special emphasis on diverse communities, which are underserved and under-insured.

Community Mobile Health Tour events are being planned in major cities from August 2011 - January 2012.  Church congregations, from various religious sectors; Baptist, Catholic, AME, UMC etc., are invited to join the Tour, along with local social/civic organizations, University Schools of Medicine and Nursing Schools, Community Health Departments and Medical Centers.  The Church Tour health initiative have engaged diverse communities and partnered with organizations to implement programs in the following cities and surrounding communities.
